This wad should be "required reading" for all Doom players wanting to improve their skills. I'm no Belial but I'd like to crank out something insane to prove that I can at least attempt to stand up to the 'doom gods'. Wad: dvii-1i.wad Map: Map12 (Minas Morgul) Time: 6:05 Category: UV-Max Port: PrBoom-plus 2.5.1.3 Fun map with cute. Would a GZDoom demo (same version as packaged in the "Ultimate" edition) be acceptable at all or do I need to pull this off old-school? Either way, I'm determined. Hmm, question for Mike or Huy: To pass the "DVII Exam", does my demo have to be an any specific format? I'm sure I can UV Max it eventually with ZDoom but PRBoom's physics are very odd (wouldn't be a problem but I've got a lot of berserking to do which is easy as hell to pull off in ZD). Hats off to Huy for the amazing work, and even more so to Mike, Belial, and AnimaZero for playing the doggone thing so much to make it so darn perfect. I'm not lying when I say DVII has bumped and pushed its way to #1 on my favorite wad list. So, I have officially beaten the entire wad on UV now. XDĪnd Vendetta was bloody awesome because it actually pays to go balls-to-the-wall insane with a BFG. Legolas ain't got NOTHING on how fast I was running away from those bloody things. The end of Cathedral made my jaw drop (and subsequently fly off as I was blown to bits multiple times). O_O finally got around to finishing this.Įxcuse the potentially-childish all-caps-ness, but man, this is THE most EPIC wad ever, truly!
